The great Isabella Rossellini sports an awesome hat at the SCAD Commencement ceremony in Atlanta. I couldn't get a shot with the gold braid around the brim, but I'm pretty sure that's some kind of feather. I suspect there's some history in this academic hat and it's been awesome for a long long time.

Went to a wedding last night and this gentleman was playing with a band called 'Complete Desire' out of ATL. Not only was the hat awesome but the band was awesome.
